What We're Looking For:

BDR's Mission:

As a BDR, your mission is to schedule inbound leads, warm leads, and prospect outbound into strategic accounts with the ultimate goal of generating calls. You will be the initial point of contact, responsible for creating and nurturing relationships with potential clients.

What Makes You A Fit:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Any cold-email knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Bonus: Attempted to start your own online business.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of the B2B lead generation space.

Responsibilities:

As a BDR, your responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and conducting calls with inbound leads.
  • Warming up and nurturing existing leads.
  • Prospect into our data warehouse of users signed up for our software products.
  • Outbound prospecting to identify and target strategic accounts.

Expected Career Progression:

  • Business Development Representative --> Senior Business Development Representative --> Business Development Manager or Account Executive

What You'll Do:

We’re a fast-growing startup, and your responsibilities will vary over time, but these core responsibilities will always remain the same:

Daily:

  • Engage with new leads and schedule introductory calls.
  • Follow up with existing leads and maintain engagement.
  • Prospect and identify new potential clients.

Weekly:

  • Review and analyze lead generation metrics.
  • Adjust outreach strategies based on performance data.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

As needed:

  • Assist with special projects related to lead generation.
  • Provide feedback to improve lead generation processes and tools.

What You Can Expect In Your First Year:

Within 1 month:

  • Complete onboarding and training.
  • Familiarize yourself with Leadbird’s tools and processes.
  • Begin engaging with inbound and warm leads.

Within 3 months:

  • Take full ownership of your lead generation pipeline.
  • Start outbound prospecting into strategic accounts.
  • Achieve initial performance targets.

Within 6 months:

  • Consistently meet or exceed lead generation goals.
  • Provide insights and feedback to refine lead generation strategies.
  • Begin mentoring new team members.

And beyond:

  • Advance to a Senior BDR or Business Development Manager role.
  • Lead larger projects and initiatives within the company.
  • Continue to grow and refine your skills in lead generation.
